Scale by Zambezi has been recognized as ADWEEK’s 2025 Breakthrough Media Agency of the Year, a testament to the agency’s remarkable growth and innovative media strategies. Despite a challenging start to 2024, Scale turned around its trajectory, achieving a 32% increase in spending while adding major clients such as Unilever’s Liquid I.V., LPL Financial, and the United States Tennis Association—all without losing a single account.

Grace Teng, partner and chief media officer at Scale by Zambezi, told Adweek of Scale’s growth with six new clients, “I don’t think anybody expected that type of growth last year.” Teng’s leadership has brought the company to $40 million in business by promoting its “creative media” approach.

The agency’s breakthrough success stems from its integration of media strategy with creative execution. Scale’s work with UKG and Health-Ade Kombucha exemplifies this philosophy, with campaigns that exceeded benchmarks and drove measurable business impact. The “Thrill Your Gut” campaign for Health-Ade reached over 80 million people, while UKG’s sponsorship of TED’s WorkLife podcast and an NBC Today integration garnered over 12.6 million impressions.

As an independent, women-led, and diverse agency, Scale continues to push the boundaries of modern media buying, leveraging AI-driven insights and cross-platform strategies to deliver standout campaigns—this agility and strategic creativity set Scale apart, making it a winner of this prestigious industry recognition.
