A new spot for Amazon Glow features matriarch Kris Jenner and her granddaughter Dream

Amazon’s 48-hour Prime Day sale runs July 12-13, and the ecommerce giant is building buzz for its Amazon Glow system, which will be 55% off during the sale, with a spot featuring reality TV star Kris Jenner and her granddaughter Dream Kardashian.

Amazon Glow is an interactive projector and video calling device that launched in the U.S. in March. Kids can use a 19-inch projected touchscreen to play games, work on art activities or read along with books, while the adult on the other end uses the Glow app on their smartphone or tablet.

The spot shows Jenner in California starting her “third meeting of the day” at 6:56 a.m., which is a call with Dream, who joins from her toy-filled playroom. Jenner says she’s “working really hard at getting her summer glow on” before the two play a memory game. Jenner, who has 11 grandchildren, jokes, “I have a great memory. I can remember the names of all of my children and almost all of my grandchildren.”

Meanwhile, Dream uses her touchscreen to scan the red star glasses she’s wearing, allowing Jenner to put them on a drawing on her tablet. They also play a game of Whack-a-Mole, which Jenner uses as an opportunity to teach her granddaughter to be a good sport.

“Nothing beats family,” Jenner says. “Getting to spend time like this with you, that’s the secret to my glow.”

In a statement, Jenner added, “Family is everything to me, and spending time with my grandchildren is so important—but it can be challenging given how much we’re all on the go!”

In addition, she noted Amazon Glow “really allows me to stay connected with the little ones no matter where I am. Plus, the mix of video calling and the many fun, interactive activities allow us to play together and create meaningful memories even when miles apart.”

Amazon is leaning heavily on influencers like Jenner this year to drum up excitement for its eighth annual Prime Day.
