Returning after a one-year hiatus, the Cannes International Festival of Creativity has announced this year’s winners for its prized Lions awards. After being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 festival was held virtually from June 21 through June 25. Known as the global benchmark for creative excellence, Cannes Lions recognizes and honors creativity across industries including pharma, sports, and creative strategy.

This year top production, post and sound studios BANDIT, Butter Music + Sound, Mr. Bronx Audio Post, EVEN/ODD, and Valiant Pictures were honored for their creativity in advertising. BANDIT, Butter Music & Sound and Mr. Bronx Audio Post worked on the Pharma Grand Prix-winning campaign “Sick Beats” out of Area 23, who created the world’s first music-powered airway clearance vest for those with cystic fibrosis. The campaign won a combined total of 20 Cannes Lions and shortlist nods.
