Malayna Ellis, Head of Sync at Butter Music and Sound, will be a Round Table speaker at this year’s Sync Summit in Los Angeles on February 3rd. The Sync Summit calls this session, “Music, Ads and Brands: How Do Agencies And Brands Work With Music And How Can You Work With Them?” They describe this session as “bringing together music supervisors and creative leaders from brands and ad agencies to discuss their process, their business, and how you can effectively engage with them and their projects.” With Malayna’s years of experience in the music industry, both as a DJ herself and in her management roles, we are thrilled to see what insights she will share in this conversation.
The round table will include other LA music creatives from companies such as THE ELEMENTS, Mophonics, DEUTSCH LA, Barking Owl Studio, Pickle Music Studios, Gratitude Sound, and AdSync Summit. Attendees will gain insight into the process of the internal workings of what matching music to ads looks like and exactly what these major players are looking for. It’s a different dynamic working with advertising, including other factors that affect the decision-making process, in which these leaders will be able to offer real-world experience and advice for up-and-coming music creatives. Sync Summit will have more conversations such as this from February 2nd to the 3rd.
