Telemundo’s commercial in Super Bowl LX announced its Spanish-language coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and featured Owen Wilson getting schooled on his Spanish by Sofía Vergara. Designed to kick off Telemundo’s World Cup coverage at Super Bowl, the star-studded comedy spot aired after Bad Bunny’s acclaimed halftime show, and depicted real life soccer fan Owen Wilson working on his Spanish so he could partake in Telemundo’s soccer coverage.
Produced by Caviar and directed by roster directors Jason Woliner and Alan Yang out of the Telemundo in-house marketing team, Red Bee, the ad sees Vergara giving Wilson an ongoing Spanish crash course ahead of a surprise debut as a fútbol announcer on the channel.
BUTTER Music and Sound achieved a musical high note by producing the music for NFL Super Bowl LX spot NFL “You Are Special” — underscored by a beloved song from the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood series. The spot was designed to touchingly illustrate how the NFL is committed to uplifting the next generation of leaders by emphasizing to youth that they each are special. Drawing attention to the NFL’s Inspire Change campaign, the spot features players Christian McCaffrey, Cam Heyward and Michael Strahan singing along with children in various settings. Inspired by the timeless warmth of Mr. Rogers and created by 72andSunny, the cover rendition was created by BUTTER Music and Sound and features children from Harlem Children’s Zone, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and SMASH, breaking out in song to the iconic “You Are Special” theme.
