The AI was interesting and scary. The production logistics of turning around an augmented video so quickly had to be hard and I love that type of stuff. Fun fact, as a six-year-old, I ate\u00a0<em>a lot\u00a0<\/em>of SteakUmm.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eIfv22BQ1Y0\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-dashlane-frameid=\"3378\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sidebar\">\n<div class=\"sidebar-item\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"block block--text block--2\" data-block-type=\"news_block_text\">\n<div class=\"grid\">\n<div class=\"post-body\">\n<div class=\"post-body__content\">\n<h2>What website(s) do you use most regularly?<\/h2>\n<p>There is some real untapped comedy in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp.co.uk\/london\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yelp<\/a>\u00a0and product reviews. When I\u2019m not driving my wife crazy by reading those out loud, I\u2019m a sucker for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reddit<\/a>. There\u2019s a sub on just about everything, and they have such varied and insightful comments. Also,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wikipedia.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wikipedia<\/a>. I can go pretty far down a Wiki-hole while pretending to research material.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s the most recent piece of tech that you\u2019ve bought?<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s not a piece of tech, but an app;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/what3words.com\/pretty.needed.chill\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What3Words<\/a>. I was in the UK recently and everyone used it. They divided the entire globe into three-meter by three-meter squares and gave each square a unique three-word combination.\u00a0Park the grip truck at \/\/\/hardly.deflection.flannel, or crafty is at \/\/\/wacky.older.burn. It\u2019s more accurate than an address and it\u2019s harder to make mistakes by transposing GPS coordinates. It\u2019s especially helpful when a location has multiple entrances. I don\u2019t know why we aren\u2019t using it in the US. It takes the guesswork out of directions.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d17mj1ha1c2g57.cloudfront.net\/v1\/pMp9KOdYW4AcmZVlgZzzugU2DYc\/1280x\/80\/shotsmag\/production\/clips\/9dc5d2bb-332f-40c9-89e8-a870801ce17c\/10764-about-us-header-2.jpg?v=1&amp;quality=70&amp;format=jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>What product could you not live without?<\/h2>\n<p>Wired headphones, specifically Bose SoundSport headphones. I hate wireless earbuds. Just one more battery to charge and they are extremely lose-able (I made up that word). The Bose has decent sound for listening to music and a microphone for phone calls They are discontinued, so I buy them refurbished off of eBay. I\u2019m not a Luddite; I just like what I like.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s the best film you\u2019ve seen over the last year?<\/h2>\n<p><em>American Fiction<\/em>. It checked a lot of boxes for me, and I notice different things upon rewatches. Jeffrey Wright is great in it, as usual. And John Ortiz is doing John Ortiz things. It also influenced me to drink a lot more Chenin Blanc.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i0MbLCpYJPA\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-dashlane-frameid=\"3379\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>What film do you think everyone should have seen?<\/h2>\n<p>Don\u2019t say\u00a0<em>Armageddon<\/em>. I\u2019ve even caught myself watching it on Telemundo before. I know all the dialogue, so it doesn\u2019t matter what language it\u2019s in. I\u2019d say Instagram. I mostly follow rappers from Houston, and old NBA players. That typically provides the dopamine hits I need to get me through the day. It\u2019s also a good way to find new DP\/gaffer\/production designer talent.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s your favourite TV show?<\/h2>\n<p><em>East Bound &amp; Down<\/em>\u00a0felt synthetically grown in a lab specifically just for me and my tastes. I did enjoy\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/playlist\/6TtjaxSlkGg60jxd2AInSn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coconut Radio, on SiriusXM<\/a>\u00a0back when it was on, though; it was sort of a podcast\/playlist hybrid. Jason Schwartzman curated the music and gave insight into his picks. He did a fun one where he was a guest on his own show, and it was pretty clever.<\/p>\n<h2>What show\/exhibition has most inspired you recently?<\/h2>\n<p>I went to the Museum of Neon in Warsaw on a job a little while back. That was cool from a technology-meets-art-meets-commerce perspective, through a political science lens.<\/p>\n<h2>If you could only listen to one music artist from now on, who would it be?<\/h2>\n<p>I feel like, for this to be the case, something really, really bad must have happened. Like I\u2019ve been committed to a psych ward or some sort of a post-apocalyptic situation. So, I\u2019ll go with The Flaming Lips.
