Creative studio <\/span>The-Artery<\/b><\/a> is headed to the 2024 Sundance Film Festival with three films screening at the iconic independent film festival. The award-winning studio handled VFX on Stephen Soderbergh\u2019s Presence, Jesse Eisenberg\u2019s sophomore feature A Real Pain, and director Jane Shoenburn\u2019s I Saw the TV Glow. The 2024 Sundance Film Festival runs from January 18 – 28, with in-person screenings in Park City, Utah, and virtual screenings available on a limited schedule.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

No stranger to Sundance premieres, The-Artery has worked on Sundance selections for over a decade, collaborating with top filmmakers such as Julie Taymor, Dan Fogelman and Lulu Wang.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Presence<\/span><\/a> will appear as part of the festival\u2019s Premieres programming. The film, starring Lucy Liu (<\/span>Kill Bill, Charlie\u2019s Angels<\/span>), Chris Sullivan (\u201cThis Is Us\u201d) and Julia Fox (<\/span>Uncut Gems<\/span>), <\/span>follows a family who moves into a suburban house and becomes convinced they\u2019re not alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

A<\/span> Real Pain<\/span><\/a> will appear in the festival\u2019s Dramatic Competition and mark\u2019s Jesse Eisenberg\u2019s sophomore feature film launch. The film, starring Academy Award-nominated Eisenberg (<\/span>The Social Network, Zombieland<\/span>), Kieran Culkin (\u201cSuccession\u201d) and Jennifer Grey (<\/span>Dirty Dancing, Ferris Bueller\u2019s Day Off<\/span>), follows mismatched cousins David and Benji as they reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the pair\u2019s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history. I Saw the TV Glow<\/span><\/a> will screen as a part of the festival\u2019s Midnight offering. Starring Justice Smith (<\/span>Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves<\/span>) and Michael C. Maronna (<\/span>Home Alone<\/span> franchise), the feature follows teenager Owen who is just trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show \u2014 a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. In the pale glow of the television, Owen\u2019s view of reality begins to crack.<\/span><\/p>\n
