We found so many heroes in Delta\u2019s ranks, and their stories were inspirational as glimpses into what we are all capable of when we come together in extremely challenging times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joshua Seftel<\/strong>\u00a0is an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/reel360.com\/article\/category\/film\/academy-awards\/\">Academy Award-nominated<\/a>\u00a0director best known for directing the Emmy-winning landmark series\u00a0<em>Queer Eye for the Straight Guy<\/em>, the feature film\u00a0<em>War, Inc.<\/em>\u00a0starring John Cusack, Marisa Tomei and Ben Kingsley, and his regular appearances on\u00a0<em>CBS Sunday Morning<\/em>\u00a0where he interviews his 86-year-old mother.<\/p>\n<p>Joshua\u2019s Academy Award-nominated short documentary\u00a0<em>Stranger at the Gate<\/em>, Executive Produced by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai, is the latest film in Seftel\u2019s Emmy and Peabody-nominated\u00a0<em>Secret Life of Muslims<\/em>\u00a0project (SXSW), which combats Islamophobia with filmmaking.<\/p>\n<p>Seftel, who experienced antisemitism as a child, has been committed to working on this subject matter for the past seven years.
