Trinidad will spend a three-month residency enhancing the company\u2019s sync offerings<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Celebrated KCRW DJ <\/span>Garth Trinidad<\/b> has joined international music shop<\/span> Butter Music and Sound<\/span><\/a> for a three month guest residency as Sync Director, working directly<\/span> with clients, while enhancing the company\u2019s creative sync offerings and music supervision track record, and on building the BUTTER SYNC artist roster. His award-winning international mix of music has been heard on KCRW\u2019s airwaves since 1996. Regarded by the media and peers as a key influencer of global music culture, Trinidad has introduced the world to such artists as Little Dragon and Janelle Monae, interviewed the likes of Quincy Jones and Yoko Ono, and is credited in part with shaping LA\u2019s modern music landscape with his finger-on-the-pulse expertise for diverse up-and-coming talent. He brings over 20 years of radio hosting experience as well as background as a music supervisor, working on top series including \u201cEntourage\u201d and for brands such as Nike, HBO, Toyota and Sony.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGarth was introduced to Butter by our LA ECD, Tim Kvasnosky, as the two became friends when Garth broke radio airplay for one of Tim\u2019s side projects, Tiny Hearts” says LA EP <\/span>Annick Mayer<\/b>, \u201cGarth has always been someone we admire and is nothing short of an LA music legend, so having the opportunity to officially work with him could not be more inspiring.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
