We spent two minutes with Josh to learn more about his background, his creative inspirations and recent work he\u2019s admired.<\/p>\n

Josh, tell us \u2026<\/p>\n

Where did you grow up, and where do you live now?<\/h3>\n

Queens, N.Y. and Queens, N.Y. (For the sake of clarity, I do not live with my parents\u2013just near them.) One day, I would like to move to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

How did you first realize you were creative?<\/h3>\n

It\u2019s hard to say when I first realized it. But every time I\u2019m able to make one of the directors or creatives I work with laugh, it\u2019s reassuring to know I still got it.<\/p>\n

A moment from high school or college that changed your life.<\/h3>\n

My mom knew I wanted to work in the film business, and she had a distant cousin who rented out grip equipment. She called him and got me an interview. He suggested I work in camera instead. He gave me a list of all the camera houses in the city. The last one on the list hired me the next day as the rental manager. I came to realize that the only people who didn\u2019t negotiate with me over camera packages were the commercial staff. So I said: \u201cI wanna do THAT.\u201d I ended up bartering some camera equipment for a job interview. And that\u2019s how I got my start producing.<\/p>\n

Film: I just watched\u00a0Chris Wilcha\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0Flipside<\/a>\u00a0 on a plane, and it hit hard. I\u2019m looking forward to seeing the new\u00a0The Naked Gun<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Coyote vs Acme<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One of your favorite creative projects you\u2019ve ever worked on.<\/h3>\n

GM\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0Super Bowl ad\u00a0\u201cNo Way, Norway,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0directed by\u00a0Jake Szymanski<\/a>. We shot this during the peak of Covid. Everyone was getting tested every day for a week before the shoot. It was considered safer to build sets in\u00a0Will Ferrell\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0backyard rather than go to a stage or location. Great vibes with the creative team, who I love working with to this day.<\/p>\n

A recent project you\u2019re proud of.<\/h3>\n

Totinos\u2019<\/a>\u00a0Super Bowl ad, directed by\u00a0Alice Mathias<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0Caviar<\/a>, called \u201cChazmo Finally Goes Home.\u201d Watch the banned extended cut:<\/p>\n
