The Webby Awards, which honor creative work on the internet including podcasts, games, video, advertising, media and PR, and websites, announced their 2021 winners this week. The 25th annual celebration was held virtually on May 18th, at a ceremony hosted by actress, writer and activist Jameela Jamil. Of the nearly 13,500 global entries received from over 70 countries, many winners and honorees were awarded for their work addressing current social issues, such as race inequality and the COVID-19 pandemic.
