International music and sound powerhouse Squeak E. Clean Studios proudly celebrates a successful first year after merging with Nylon Studios, releasing their debut compilation album, Squeak E. Clean Studios: Vol. 1, to mark the occasion, that can be heard HERE.
The year entailed substantial growth and opportunities to learn, but also achievements and heightened offerings and capabilities. Clients gained access to a full range of services in every studio, including original composition, sound design and mix, music licensing, artist partnerships, experiential and spatial sound, and sonic branding. Clients are also able to license tracks from a vast, consolidated music catalog.
The global music and audio collective recently produced an original podcast for Audible, King of Sting, that was recorded, edited and creatively produced by Squeak E. Clean Studios as a production partner with Audible Australia and features all original sound design and music by their Sydney composer and engineer, Charlie White. King of Sting follows the story of a career conman, Peter Foster, through the eyes of veteran journalist and series creator, Justin Amsden. With the help of a private investigator and secretly recorded conversations, King of Sting exposes the enormous web of deceit Foster has woven over his 25-year career, and his many unbelieve escapes from the law. Listen to the podcast in the U.S. HERE and in Australia HERE.
The Squeak E. Clean Studios team says, “As we approach this milestone we’d love to thank each and every one of our partners, friends, musicians, spouses, therapists and bartenders for the endless support and love.”
Over the past year, they’ve provided top audio for massive projects including various Super Bowl spots for Pepsi and Coca-Cola and expanded their roster of talent to include award-winning additions including Creative Director Justin Hori, Chicago Executive Producer Chris Clark and newly-promoted Executive Producer Amanda Patterson, among other talented sound designers and producers.
The company has also made its mark in difficult times with initiatives like Squeak E. Cares. The enterprise offers gratis music licensing from their extensive catalog to charities involved with the COVID-19 response, as well as offsets the loss of income for independent artists with a regularly-updated Spotify playlist of their “friends and family” musicians and bands.
While July 2020 looks very different from just one year prior, Squeak E. Clean Studios plans to plug ahead with a larger international outfit than ever before and will continue to collaborate with cherished partners on amazing musical endeavors.
